Student interns gain valuable experience by assisting members of the UF Health Office of Development to coordinate and implement special event fundraisers, capital campaign activities and other development efforts within the system.
With many years of combined experience, the development team is poised to help the student intern learn the valuable skills needed to work in the field of development. As a student intern, you will receive hands-on training on aspects of development and fundraising including:
- Special events planning and management
- Marketing and public relations in the health care field
Internships are available on an annual or semester basis and can be counted toward college credits. Positions are available in the following areas:
- Children’s Miracle Network
- Annual Giving
- Special Events
- Web Development & Online Giving
- Fund Management & Gift Processing
