Dance Marathon at Florida State University makes a Statement

Dance Marathon at FSU participated in its first ever FLORIDA STATEMENT Day on Wednesday, Jan. 13. In true Seminole tradition, the students set out to “make a statement” on campus and within the Tallahassee community with the goal of raising $100,000 for Children’s Miracle Network at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital in 26.2 hours.

More than 3,000 FSU students participated and raised an astounding $122,475.06.

DM at FSU has raised more than $6.4 million for Children’s Miracle Network at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital since it began in 1996, announcing a total of more than $1.1 million last year alone. DM at FSU will hold its 21st annual event in Tallahassee Feb. 26-28, when more than 1,400 students will stand for one of two 20-hour shifts through the weekend raising money and making miracles happen!
